The CCIS Writing Center offers mentoring for students who need extra help writing for media, particularly news and public relations. Mentoring sessions are held in Room 301, the Journalism Photo Lab. The office is across from the elevator in the older part of the building on the third floor.
The Center is staffed by graduate and senior/junior undergraduate students in the College who have demonstrated strong writing ability and who have professional media or teaching experience. Thanks to the Alabama Press Association Journalism Foundation for providing funds for mentors' stipends. |
